Our biggest turnout to date was the January 6 2018 vegan potluck— approximately 58 people. (Several others arrived after this group pic was taken). Our speaker Jessica Bagwell shared about Anonymous for the Voiceless. Coordinator Nicky shared three reasons to go vegan, and read from John Robbins book, “Food Revolution.” Co-coordinator Frank gave away some door prizes, donated by Cook’s Station. It was a fun evening.
Anonymous for the Voiceless is an animal rights organization that specializes in street activism. Over 2,207 demonstrations in 376 cities/56 countries, they’re convinced at least 70,894 bystanders to take the needless violence in their diets and lifestyles seriously.
They employ direct action with highly effective public outreach using local standard-practice footage of what “food” animals experience every second of every day, virtual reality technology, succinctly informative resources and a value-based sales approach.
Anonymous for the Voiceless equips the public with everything they need in switching to a vegan lifestyle. They hold an abolitionist stance on animal exploitation.
